What's the difference between a flat and a fitted sheet? 

Flat Sheet is a regular sheet with plain stitching at the edges. Whereas, Fitted sheets have elastic stitched at all four edges of a bedsheet . It's meant to fit like a glove on the mattress. 

What's the ready size of the fitted sheet? 

The fitted sheet measures 72 x 78 inches (King Size) with a depth of up to 6 inches. It will fit mattresses with a variance of 1-2 inches from these dimensions.
